Short description

TII intend to contract for the provision of maintenance operations and renewals services and works on the non-PPP elements of the high speed road network.
The relevant network is currently maintained in three separate sub networks, each of which is the subject of a separate existing maintenance and renewals contract. The three sub networks (which are being awarded as separate lots) are:
Lot 1 Area A – Greater Dublin and eastern seaboard area. It totals approximately 172km including parts of the N/M1, N/M2, N/M3, N/M4, N7, M9, N/M11 and M50.
Lot 2 Area B – Midlands/West area. It totals approximately 252km and includes parts of the N/M4, N/M6, M7, N/M18, N19, N20, N21 and N85.
Lot 3 Area C – South/South-East area. It totals approximately 329km and includes parts of the M7, M8, M9, N/M20, N22, N25, N10 and N24 N40, N28 and N71.

TII intends to tender for maintenance and renewals services and works on all 3 lots for a contract period of 60 months, currently anticipated to commence in mid-2019, with the possibility of extending for a period or periods up to a total of 96 months at TII's discretion.

A Suitability Assessment Questionnaire for completion by entities wishing to express interest in one or more of the lots is also available with this Notice.

It is currently anticipated that the value of the MMaRCs will be approximately €10 - €15 million per year per lot, although this is subject to change because the contract comprises a mix of on-going maintenance work, reactive maintenance work and renewals works, together with ad hoc construction works which may be ordered by the Authority from time to time.

In relation to the estimated value of both the Lots combined and individually it is important to note that the figures stated are subject to change. The Authority may do any of the following during the contract term.
Add sections of road to the contracts from time to time and may order some or all of the services to be performed on such sections of road. The Authority may also omit sections of road. Accordingly, the value of the contract is likely to change from year to year and may be greater or lesser than the Authority currently anticipates. Interested parties should bear this in mind in deciding to express interest in the competition. Further details will be included in the tender documents.
