This is a Prior Information Notice and not a call for competition – a call for competition may be placed within the next 3 months. This notice aims to provide advance warning to the market that shorter timescales may apply at tender stage.
Fingal County Council intends to tender for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning and support of an on-site IP Telephony and Customer Contact Centre system (to include full integration to a MS Dynamics CRM system) for its main office buildings at County Hall, Swords and Civic Offices, Blanchardstown and thirty-one remote sites including libraries, depots and heritage properties.
The Council currently has an Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise system serving 776 handsets (4028 and 8028) coupled with an Alcatel-Lucent OpenTouch Conversation system serving 109 OpenTouch handsets (4018 & 8082). We also have 5 DECT phones and 5 conference phones.
The provision of functionality equivalent to the existing OpenTouch Conversation system will NOT be in the scope of this tender.
The Council has c. 1,500 staff. 885 staff have deskphones and 672 staff have mobile phones. Of these 248 have both a deskphone and a mobile phone.
Fingal County Council requires the following -

• Comprehensive Reporting
• Management equipment and software
• Installation and configuration of all equipment supplied
• User and technical training
• Maintenance and support of all equipment supplied
• Ability to integrate with Meetings and Messaging systems
