An Post’s has recently launched a new vision for Post Office Services in Ireland. In reimagining Post Office Services in Ireland, meeting the needs and requirements of customers and communities is an absolute priority for An Post.
At the heart of this transformational programme for the Irish Post Office Network is a commitment by An Post to provide communities with a broad range of new and enhanced services through a reshaped, refurbished and modernised network ensuring Post Office Services will be offered through a range of channels – including face to face and digital, and self – service.
An Post wishes to appoint a supplier(s) to provide secure cash-handling equipment for tellers also known as Teller Assist Units (TAUs) which will enable the payment and acceptance of exact cash and coins to customers

Description of the procurement

An Post’s has recently launched a new vision for Post Office Services in Ireland. In reimagining Post Office Services in Ireland, meeting the needs and requirements of customers and communities is an absolute priority for An Post.

As part of an investment plan in delivering Post Office services,
An Post wishes to appoint a supplier(s) to provide secure cash-handling equipment for tellers also known as Teller Assist Units (TAUs) which will enable the payment and acceptance of exact cash and coins to customers
The requirement will be for provision of hardware, on-going maintenance services and associated software interface with the An Post Riposte counter-automation system which will be developed in conjunction with An Post at an Application Programme Interface (API) level. Cash dispensing and full cash recycling options will be considered.
We seek a supplier who can provide an integrated solution to meet our retail strategy while providing a high degree of security for our cash within retail format and potentially – standard post offices.
