Short description

The Aquaculture Technical Section in BIM undertakes trials with the Aquaculture Industry in accordance with the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and the National Strategic Plan for Aquaculture. As part of this process it is planned to address various fish health and welfare issues relating to the Irish Aquaculture industry. These will include dealing with current issues such as CMS, AGD and sea lice along with developing good practice guides and operation guidelines. In addition BIM will require veterinary service and inspections to be provided at specific farm locations for a range of species.
BIM would now like to invite suitable tenders for veterinary services. This contract will commence in July 2018 and the maximum duration of the contract will be eighteen months( December 2020).. The proposal for these veterinary services should be based on the Specification of Requirements set out in Section 2 of this document.
