Short description

Lough Ree Power is a 100MWe peat fired CFB power plant. Amongst the feed water heaters employed on the water steam cycle are three vertical high pressure (HP) feed water heaters and three horizontal low pressure (LP) heaters. ESB plan to replace one of the HP heaters due to flow accelerated corrosion damage to its shell and internal tubing. ESB also plan to replace two LP heaters due to repeated tube leaks also. ESB invites expressions of interest for the design, manufacture, delivery, installation and commissioning of a new high pressure feed water heater at Lough Ree Power. The works will include removal of the existing heater.
