The development will consist of a three storey over partial basement Student Centre, providing a foyer space, auditorium (200 seat), meeting rooms, offices, a shop and café, along with site clearance and new landscape paving external works including an enclosed bicycle stand. The building will include bespoke timber joinery, structural glazing and curtain walling. The building is designed to achieve a BER A3 rating.

University of Limerick will conduct a pre-qualification assessment process to identify the maximum number of highest scoring contractors/specialists, subject to their being sufficient number of prequalified contractors/specialists. Contractors/specialists are advised to refer to the Suitability Assessment Questionnaires.
Maximum of 8 contractors provided sufficient pre-qualify for main contractor. Maximum of 6 contractors provided sufficient pre-qualify for specialists.
