Sligo County Council (the “Authority”) has a lead role in the delivery of the Regeneration Project at Cranmore Housing Estate. The pillars of the Regeneration Project are as follows;
• Social regeneration
• Physical regeneration
Sligo County Council proposes to establish a Multi - Operator Consultant Framework Agreement for Design Team Services for a fully integrated Architect Led Design Team Service, hereafter called ‘Design Services’ for the detailed Design and Construction Management of Building Energy Upgrades and Environmental Improvements to Cranmore Housing Estate, Sligo.
'Expressions of Interest' submissions for the Framework Panel are now being sought from Design Team consultancy service providers for pre-qualification and inclusion in the Framework, with tender submissions for an initial contract for Phase 1 Works.
The Framework once established will consist of a limited number of pre-qualified applicants (minimum of 4no. and a maximum 6no).

The Physical Regeneration project involves activity in a number of areas from small scale environmental improvement works to new housing and community facilities. The delivery of residential units, across a range of unit types including houses, apartments etc. is an important component of the overall project.
The Framework agreement relates to a major element of the Cranmore Regeneration project. It is planned to upgrade more than 376 no. council and privately owned dwellings within the Cranmore Housing estate. The Council Dwellings are to be upgraded to BER C1 standard. Decanting of Residents in Council Dwellings to Decant accommodation will be necessary. A limited schedule of works is to be carried out to the private Dwellings. Decanting of Private residents will not be necessary.
