Beaumont Hospital seeks preliminary, informal Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified economic operators regarding the supply and installation of modular buildings. In particular, it is anticipated that modular buildings may be utilised to fulfil the following functions within Beaumont Hospital’s campus: This pre-planning market engagement process is referred to as a ‘technical dialogue’ and is expressly permitted by the relevant public procurement regulations, including Article 40 of Directive 2014/24/EU. It is envisioned that this process will afford the Hospital a full understanding of the extent to which the market is in a position to provide the required solution to the Hospital and will enable the Hospital to more accurately formulate an overall approach to the project. Interested parties are required to download the Request for Information document, which contains full instructions regarding the preparation and submission of Expressions of Interest.

This technical dialogue exercise will be used by the Hospital to gauge the extent to which the market can meet the Hospital’s requirements for the purposes of assessing the necessity of a formal tendering procedure in due course. The Hospital offers no guarantee that a competitive process will be held in relation to this requirement. Any such competitive process will be advertised via the Irish government’s procurement opportunities portal (www.etenders.gov.ie). Participants in the technical dialogue process will not be independently informed of the commencement of the competition.
