The Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA) is seeking proposals from Tenderers to:
- Develop a training programme, comprising a number of modules at introductory level, to support the implementation of the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM);
- Develop easily accessible and innovative training materials for each module that appeal to an array of learning preferences. In developing these materials, a variety of media should be used, namely downloadable pdf booklets, podcasts and training videos.
- Develop and deliver a train the trainer programme to allow trainers from a number of agencies (e.g. City and County Childcare Committees, Early Years Specialist Service, Health Service Executive etc) to deliver the training programme (or parts thereof) nationally to pre-school practitioners with confidence and consistency.
