Description of the procurement

Please note : this notice is published on a voluntary basis for advertisement purposes.
This procurement competition is to establish a framework agreement. ESB is now seeking expressions of interest for the provision of works, supplies and services related to site investigations for wind farm projects acquired or built in Great Britain (G.B.) during the term of this Framework, including Joint Venture or subsidiary developments. However, it should be noted that some works could be for other power generation, distribution & supply projects such as solar farm, battery storage, or thermal generation sites, substations & cable routes. Some post construction site investigation works during the Wind Farm operational phase may also be included in the framework scope of works.
The objective of the site investigations will be to examine the engineering characteristics (including chemical testing for contamination in particular cases) of the underlying soil, rock and groundwater conditions.

Additional information

This procurement competition is intended to establish a multi-party Framework agreement. The Framework term will compromise of a three (3) year initial term, with the option, at the Contracting Entity’s own discretion, to extend up to a maximum of a further five years.
