Short description
The Catering Equipment contract involves the supply and installation of all identified 'heavy equipment' in relation to the Curragh Racecourse Redevelopment Project. As part of the contract the Catering Equipment Contractor will be responsible for all coordination drawings, based on the constructed structural spaces ensuring coordination with all equipment in the specification package. This shall include all bespoke and proprietary items (the detail design drawings shall be BIM models reflecting design and tender stage information as REVIT models).
The contract will require the catering equipment contractor to coordinate with the main contractor and interior fit-out contractors to ensure full coordination for the bars, back bars, coffee counters, credenzas and shop fitted joinery. Coordination will also be required in relation to the cold rooms and connection to the building chilled water systems.
Liaison with the mechanical contractor and main contractor will also be required.

Description of the procurement
The Catering Equipment contract involves the supply and installation of all identified 'heavy equipment' to the correct services as specified. As part of the contract the Catering Equipment Contractor will be responsible for all coordination drawings, based on the constructed structural spaces ensuring coordination with all equipment in the specification package. This shall include all bespoke and proprietary items (the detail design drawings shall be BIM models reflecting design and tender stage information as REVIT models).
The contractor shall be responsible for the compilation and issue of; coordination services drawings based on the manufacturers information, detailed fabrication drawings for all stainless steel items, ventilation canopies, cold rooms, wine towers and all other equipment requiring coordination with the building structure and services.
The contractor shall be responsible for the coordination of all onsite deliveries of catering equipment including positioning of all equipment prior to installation. Liaison with the main contractor for crane usage for the installation of the Level 03 restaurant kitchen is also required.
The contract will require the catering equipment contractor to coordinate with the main contractor and interior fit-out contractors to ensure full coordination for the bars, back bars, coffee counters, credenzas and shop fitted joinery. Coordination will also be required in relation to the cold rooms and connection to the building chilled water systems.
The Catering Equipment Contractor will be responsible for the installation of all catering equipment to the correct services supplied and terminated by others to within one meter and as identified on the detailed services drawings.
Liaison with the mechanical contractor and main contractor will also be required in relation to identifying and issuing sizes of canopy spigots and recess details on the upper floors for the cold rooms and freezer room on Level 0.
