Short description

Unfortunately, a number of procedural issues regarding the conduct of the competition have been identified and, as a result, Beaumont Hospital is not in a position to appoint a successful tenderer. Specifically, concerns have been communicated to the Hospital concerning the manner in which the previous experience of candidates was assessed following the receipt of Expressions of Interest. While the Hospital is fully satisfied that the competition was conducted in an equitable and lawful manner, in the interest of ensuring the appropriate allocation of the Hospital’s resources, and on the basis of a desire to demonstrate its absolute commitment to transparency and equal treatment in the context of its purchasing activities, the Hospital has decided to formally cancel this competitive process and re-advertise a new competition.
