Short description

The CA is seeking tenders from companies to bring existing desktop computing infrastructure under management.Management of hardware. Deliver file storage services to support students/ staff for delivery of programmes in CA.Delivery of Apps to support students/staff for delivery of programmes in CA.We request that potential providers look holistically at requirements +provide options to deliver the core requirements. The solution must address the migration and/or replacement of the existing VDI-in-a-box solution. Cloud based services will be considered including Desktop-as-a-Service, Service Management, Software Distribution & Management, File Storage Services. The decision will be based on optimising Rehab’s investment in this solution. Potential tenderers, must demonstrate proven capability to undertake a migration from a distributed on-premise VDI solution or standard desktop solution to the target solution with a demonstrated ability to successfully deliver projects a short timeline

Description of the procurement

The Rehab Group is seeking tenders from companies to provide solutions in all of the following areas
1. Bringing existing desktop computing infrastructure under management
2. Management of hardware (desktops, thin clients, laptops and associated peripherals)
3. Delivery of file storage services to support students and staff for delivery of programmes in Rehab Learning
4. Delivery of Apps to support students and staff for delivery of programmes in Rehab Learning
We are requesting that potential providers look holistically at the requirements and provide options to deliver the core requirements. The solution must address the migration and/or replacement of the existing VDI-in-a-box solution. Cloud based services (public or private) will be considered including Desktop-as-a-Service, Service Management, Software Distribution & Management, File Storage Services.

This document sets out the requirements of the Rehab Group and it outlines the parameters of the Vendor Solution Proposal for consideration. These tenders should be prepared, based on delivering and implementing - in Q1 2018. Additionally, these must also provide the proposition for the countrywide rollout of the new solution to Rehab Group.
Proposals will be assessed and scored.
