Description of the procurement
This tender is to allow the appointment of Fire Consultancy Design Service (through the OJEU Accelerated Restricted procurement procedure) to carry out full Fire Engineering design services for the delivery of the New Emergency Department Block and associated works at University Hospital Galway, using the Standard Conditions of Engagement for Consultancy Services (Technical). Construction works to be procured and contracted using the latest version of the Irish Government Employer Designed Public Works Contract (PW-CF1)
Price is not the only award criterion and all criteria are stated only in the procurement documents

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates:
Minimum suitability criteria outlined in the attached Suitability Questionnaire must be met by applicants to establish those service providers that meet the minimum suitability standards. The applicants who meet the minimum suitability criteria will be included in a long list of service providers that are subsequently qualitatively selected to form a short list of six (6) qualified service providers which are invited to tender for the project.
