Short description
The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland(PSI) wishes to appoint a Service Provider
a Contract for the Provision of Outsourced Management and Operation of the Irish Institute of Pharmacy(IIOP). This is the first stage of a two-stage procedure tender process. Suitably qualified suppliers are hereby invited to submit a response to this questionnaire in order to be considered for inclusion on the tender list. Following evaluation, the top 5 scoring applicants will be invited to tender, should that number qualify.
It is anticipated that the contract will commence in January 2018. It is envisaged that the contract will be for up to five years .

Description of the procurement
The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland(PSI) issues this Call for Competition under the competitive procedure with negotiation to award a Contract for the Provision of the Outsourced Management and Operation of the Irish Institute of Pharmacy(IIOP). It is envisaged that the contract will be for up to five years.
The primary purpose of the Institute is to oversee the management and support mechanisms for CPD and the commissioning of required education and training programmes in line with national policy and evolving healthcare needs. The Institute also assures the quality of a multiple training provider system, and contributes to the development of pharmacy practice in line with international best practice and evolving healthcare needs.
The core role of the Institute of Pharmacy is to ensure the effective ongoing operation and evolution of the CPD system for pharmacists, in addition to contributing to the development of pharmacy practice in line with international best practice and emerging healthcare needs. The services to be delivered in this regard involve:

C. CPD Practice Review Process
D. Accreditation System
E. Expansion of Programme of CPD Activities
F. Pharmacy Practice Development
