Description of the procurement
Dublin City University (‘DCU’) is looking to appoint an experienced and competent Hard FM provider who can predominately self-deliver services and has the experience of managing and operating a technically demanding contract operated under an output specification, and managed by robust performance mechanisms. As a minimum, DCU is looking for contractors who have a proven track record of operating similar large technically demanding FM contracts.
The Scope of Services may include, but will not be limited to:-
• Building Maintenance services;
• Helpdesk/CAFM operation and management;
• Building mechanical and Electrical System Maintenance;
• Statutory Testing and Inspections;
• Reactive Maintenance;
• Fabric Maintenance; and
• Works projects.
DCU is currently undergoing a multi campus estate strategy review which will require the successful contractor to have a flexible approach to supporting all facilities management services provided at DCU, which may result in changes to the FM Services required and / or changes to the properties where services are required.
