Description of the procurement

The purpose of the tender is to engage an external professional service provider to support the Fellowship Programme’s aim and the objectives to the Irish Aid Fellowship Desk. The successful contractor will be expected to:
a. Contribute to the successful completion by high quality candidates of their studies under all strands;
b. Research and propose options that will extend the range of potential study choices available under the Fellowship Programme;
c. Continue to support alignment with Irish Aid’s programmatic approach at country level; and
d. Assist in the development and maintenance of an alumni network for all Irish Aid funded study fellows.
The following external services will be carried out by the successful contractor:
 Supporting the FTP call, appraisal and selection process;
 Provision of administrative and support services for all successful fellows under the fellowship programme;
 Supporting the development and maintenance of a functioning alumni network;
 Monitoring and tracking of fellows on completion of studies;
 Financial management and administration of fellowship funds; and
 Communication and promotion.
