The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to establish a multi-operator framework for four years. The initial contract, and subsequent contracts will be for the provision of an on-site resource (one contractor) within the EPA Headquarters in Wexford, Ireland, to support and assist the EPA’s Waste Statistics Team in carrying out tasks related to the EPA’s responsibilities for national waste reporting under six statutory reporting obligations (Waste Statistics Regulation, Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive, Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive, End-of-Life Vehicle Directive, Waste Framework Directive, Basel Convention). Key tasks include the collection, validation analysis and compilation of data (concerning wastes generated and accepted for treatment, waste collected and waste imports/exports) using MS Excel and an EPA internal database.
