Below are some examples our requirements may include (but are not necessarily limited to) the following: Risk identification, assessment and risk control advice with daily phone/email availability and contact and same day/next day resolution where possible
Brokering insurance cover propositions, delivering competitive premiums and advantageous design and scope of cover consistent with An Post requirements
Placement of company’s insurance policies within markets agreed by An Post, ensuring continuous cover
Validation of insurer’s policy documentation including endorsements for accuracy and timely issue of all policy documentation in hard and soft copy formats

Description of the procurement

An Post is seeking to enter into a single party framework with a single provider for the provision of Insurance Brokerage and risk Services
Examples of requirements may include (but are not necessarily limited to) the following:
Risk identification, assessment and risk control advice with daily phone/email availability and contact and same day/next day resolution where possible
Brokering insurance cover propositions, delivering competitive premiums and advantageous design and scope of cover consistent with An Post requirements

Placement of company’s insurance policies within markets agreed by An Post, ensuring continuous cover
• Validation of insurer’s policy documentation including endorsements for accuracy and timely issue of all policy documentation in hard and soft copy formats
• General assistance and advice in relation to insured losses including appropriate contact with insurers and loss adjusters to progress claims
• Segmentation of premium allocation to designated cost centres as required
• Invoicing and insurer premium settlement
• Provision of insurance summary within 30 days of placement/renewal of cover in hard bound copy and soft copy
• Prepare renewal questionnaires and/or provide latest insurer renewal forms, liaising with the Insurance Manager, co-ordinating the collection of renewal information and collation in a format acceptable to Underwriters, reverting with any additional questionnaires or queries in a timely fashion so as not to prejudice the renewal negotiations
• Provide ongoing advice on the extent of policy coverage and risks to be insured and exposures, factoring in changes in social/economic environment, risk appetite and market conditions
• Implement required amendments to the insurance programme upon instruction
• Provide regular updates on outstanding issues
• Advise on the implications to the business and to insurance policies regarding insurance, indemnity and liability clauses contained in business contracts
