Description of the procurement

Despite numerous attempts and campaigns from local authorities; there remains a failure to reduce the number of illegal dumping incidents across the Dublin Region.
We are now seeking low cost, innovative, tech solutions in the form of products, services or applications to tackle illegal dumping and fly tipping:
Examples:
• Integrate data from current systems to better target illegal dumping and fly tipping
• Utilise existing data to drive pro-active rather than re-active responses (predictive and prescriptive analytics)
• Improve methods of recording illegally dumped materials (size of loads, type, location and frequency)
• Develop tools to enable behavioural and cultural change in attitudes towards the proper disposal of waste to citizens that dispose of waste illegally
• All solutions must take into consideration the current Data Protection Act as well as amendments included in the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which will come into force on the 25th of May 2018.
Please see ITT for further details. Smart Dublin will only accept electronic submissions via Etenders.
