Description of the procurement

Foras na Gaeilge invites tenders for maintenance and development of the live website for the New English-Irish Dictionary, www.focloir.ie. The following are the products and services required:
(a) Software to facilitate the Basic Search in English, in the XML database containing the New English-Irish Dictionary (NEID);
(b) Software to facilitate the Basic Search in Irish;
(c) Software to facilitate the secondary functions – Grammar Files, Sound Files, Advanced Search, Word of the Day and Browsing the dictionary;
(d) Hosting and management of the site.
Tenders are requested for the 3-year period 2017-2019; the contract may be extended, on an annual basis, to four or five years, if agreed by Foras na Gaeilge and the Contractor.
