Description of the procurement
The Marine Institute wishes to put a single supplier Framework Agreement in place, for the following specific primary projects, known collectively as the ‘Spatial Data and Evidence Projects’:
Project 1: Data Discovery, Collation and Gap Analysis and Collection: Undertake a data discovery, collation, gap analysis and, where necessary, data collection for use in support of MSP.
Project 2: Map and Assess Marine Ecosystems and their Services: Based on best practise and available information, characterise and map Ireland’s marine provisioning, regulating / maintenance and cultural services.
Project 3: Climate Change: Compile and map existing spatial data relating to climate change and risks.
Project 4: Modelling and Support Tools: Environmental Modelling and the development of GIS based Decision Support Tools.
The successful tenderer will support the Marine Institute to deliver these outputs together with Marine Institute and, where necessary, other experts selected by the Institute.
