Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is one of the EPA’s core business functions, the Lots in this Framework will provide the additional GIS expertise to maintain and advance the GIS service within the EPA. The discipline of GIS includes a wide range of applications, typically GIS professional focus on a particular area of GIS with quite defined and different skillsets. To reflect this diversity of skills 4 GIS Service Lots are defined within this framework to cover:
- GIS Data and Applications Management;
- GIS Solutions Design and Development;
- GIS Spatial Analysis;
- Remote Sensing.
The EPA intends to conclude one or more specific call-off contracts in one or more areas of expertise as described within the tender.
