Additional information

Design, manufacture, supply and delivery of pre-fabricated, pre-cast concrete frame Bathroom Pods for Student Accommodation.
The works for the overall Framework will comprise approximately 3,000 Bathroom Pods. Phase 1 is to include for aproximately 920No. bathroom pods, with approximately 1,250No. in Phase 2 and 830No. in Phase 3.
The Pods are to be constructed from pre-cast concrete frame and base, using concrete as a wet room, with level access showers.
All pods are to be fully compliant with all regulatory guidelines in Ireland.
The pods are to fully finished internally, with all sanitary ware, fittings and accessories pre-installed. The pods are to include temporary access doors.
The pods are to be constructed to confined, exacting construction tolerances, as they are to be installed within recessed slabs.
It is the intention of the Employer to enter in to a contract with the Bathroom Pod Supplier for each separate phase, which will subsequently be Novated over to the successfully appointed Main Contractor at a later date, as a Novated Specialist to that Main Contractor. Alternatively, Bathroom Pod Suppliers called off under the Framework Agreement may be included in tender documents for main contractors
It should be noted that the proposed site location for the works is within a live university campus environment, with open access to students, staff and the general public.
