IE has a requirement for the supply of Internet Protocol (IP) High Definition (HD) Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Cameras and Associated Hardware and Software. The cameras, which are required to upgrade IE’s current composite CCTV sites & integrate with existing IP CCTV sites will be installed at stations nationwide where they will be incorporated with IE’s fibre network & either managed locally and/or via a Remote Control Centre over IE's 1Gig Network. It is intended to establish a three year supply contract with the option to extend up to a maximum of two years.

Description of the procurement

IE has a requirement for the supply of Internet Protocol (IP) High Definition (HD) Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Cameras and Associated Hardware and Software.
Following a recent competitive tender process, IE has installed IP CCTV at a large number of sites throughout the network. The cameras systems installed at these sites are based on Avigilon combined software and hardware technology for certain applications.
The cameras, which are the subject of this tender are required to upgrade IE’s remaining composite CCTV sites and integrate with current IP CCTV sites. The cameras will be installed at stations around the country where they will be incorporated with IE’s fibre network and either managed locally and or via a Remote Control Centre over the Iarnród Éireann 1 Gig Ethernet Network. For indicative purposes only, an average camera system would consist of approx. 25 cameras per station.
The scope of the contract will include the following:
• Supply of Internet Protocol (IP) High Definition (HD) Cameras
• Supply of License Plate Recognition System
• Supply of Analytics
• Supply of Associated Network Video Recorders (NVR)
• Supply of Associated Operating Computers
• Supply of accessories e.g. housing complete, camera mounting accessories, keyboards
Interested candidates are required to download, complete and return the Pre Qualification Questionnaire attached to this notice. Where an equivalent camera system is proposed, candidates must clearly demonstrate in the Pre Qualification Questionnaire that they have the relevant experience and capability to supply IP HD CCTV Equipment compatible with IE’s existing system, without the loss of any current camera or software functionality.
