ESB wishes to engage in a preliminary market consultations with interested parties to research the Solar farm development market on the Island of Ireland before the potential establishment of an EPC solar farm development framework and equipment supply framework. This notice is not an invitation to tender or a call for competition.

Further information on this preliminary market consultation is contained in the Information Memorandum available through e-Tenders. In order to be included in this preliminary market consultation process, interested parties are required to express their interest to ESB (via eTenders – Tender ID 113847) and return the completed questionnaire no later than 16:00 hrs (GMT) on 3rd march 2017.

Interested parties who choose to participate in the preliminary market consultation do so at their own cost and expense; ESB shall not be liable for any such costs or expenses under any circumstances. Information obtained during the preliminary market consultation will not be used in any way which will have the effect of distorting competition or will result in a violation of the principles of non-discrimination and transparency. No party will be advantaged or disadvantaged during any subsequent procurement process as a result of information submitted by it in the course of the preliminary market consultation. Parities do not need to participate in this preliminary market consultation process to take part in any subsequent procurement process.
