Description of the procurement
Lots:-
Lot. 1 for the supply of a shallow-draft (less than 2.0m) boat to be used as a platform for deployment of scientific instrumentation. It should be a suitable inshore craft of less than 24m in length. Any proposed vessel if new, it should have the manufacturers certification, or if second hand it must be accompanied by a service history document. Evidence of the right to sell the proposed vessel either as being the vessel owner or as an agent for the owner will be required.

Description of the procurement
Lots:
Lot.2 for the supply of a multi-year charter option. The span of the charter would be over 5 years, each individual year would entail charter of the same shallow-draft (less than 2.0m) boat to be used as a platform for deployment of scientific instrumentation from March until September, inclusive. It should be a suitable inshore craft of less than 24m in length. Any proposed vessel, should have the Irish Department of Transport’s Marine Survey Office (MSO) appropriate certification for survey operation of the vessel within Irish waters. Scope must exist for owner approved modifications to the vessel to support effective science operations (equipment mounting etc.,).
