Description of the procurement

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) wishes to establish a Qualification System for the training requirement of its Chief Civil Engineers (CCE) Department and the Signalling, Electrical & Telecomms (SET) Department.
The aim of the training is:-
1. To develop the technical proficiency and competency of staff responsible for the maintenance, installation, renewal and repair of signalling equipment.
2. To develop the technical proficiency and competency of staff responsible for track designs and maintenance.

Please note this notice refers to a Qualification System for training for the Chief Civil Engineers and Signalling, Electrical & Telecommunications Departments.
The Qualification System will be valid for a 3 year period.
Applicants successful at Pre-Qualification Stage will be invited to submit tenders for training requirements that Iarnród Éireann may have relevant to this Qualification System during the 3 year period.
Iarnród Eireann may at its discretion and when considered appropriate use alternative procurement options for training requirements.
