- 28.295ha in Cappamore - Kilmallock Cutting Area which includes 14.325ha; marked as provisional (these areas are denoted by an asterix);
- 29.607ha in Adare - Rathkeale Cutting Area which includes 15.154ha; marked as provisional (these areas are denoted by an asterix);
- 33.134ha in Newcastle West Cutting Area which includes 4.011ha; marked as
provisional (these areas are denoted by an asterix).

III.1)

Conditions for participation

III.1.1)

Suitability to pursue the professional activity, including requirements relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers

List and brief description of conditions:  The successful Contractor shall provide all relevant site accommodation, materials and equipment, required to undertake these works. A list of machinery available to the successful Contractor to
carry out the required works should be included with their tender submission. The machinery to be utilized should be suitable for the proposed operations; the use of garden or domestic mowers will not be accepted by Limerick City & County Council. The minimum grass cutting equipment requirement is five active tractors (three for City Environs and two for County Environs), one no. tractor mower with collector and two standby tractor at all times. Each tractor shall have a minimum output of 30 horsepower; while the two standby tractors will have four wheel drive capability. There is also a requirement for the provision of a hedge cutter for the cutting of embankments etc. within Metropolitan cut area, or alternatively these areas will need to be strimmed manually

Technical and professional ability

List and brief description of selection criteria:  
Limerick City & County Council does not bind itself to accept the tender with the lowest stated tender total or any tender, and will not pay any compensation whatsoever in connection therewith. The tender accepted shall be the most economically advantageous tender submitted for each lot. Each lot can be awarded individually and for tender purposes the following are the respective lots i.e. 1. Cappamore - Kilmallock Cut Area; 2. Newcastle West Cut Area; 3. Adare – Rathkeale Cut Area; and 4. Metropolitan Cut Area.
The following weighting system shall be used in determining the successful tender:
Price 70 marks
Relevant Experience 20 marks
Organisational Structure 10 marks
