Short description

A Financial Audit of three years: 2016, 2017 and 2018, based on the 2016 TOR for the Embassy and the 2016 TOR for Programmes/Projects funded by the Embassy. These Terms of Reference (ToRs) applies for the audit of the Embassy for the year ending 31st December 2016 and should be used as reference in preparation for the 3 year’s Technical and Financial Proposals. The ToRs will be updated annually. The Embassy accounts should be audited every year while the number of Programmes/Projects may be subject to change.
The 2016 audit includes the audit of the Embassy of Ireland based in Maputo and 14 Programmes/Projects funded by the Embassy of Ireland in Mozambique. The scope of the audit will be reviewed on an annual basis. It is expected that under the scope of the 2017 audit 15 Projects will be audited in addition to the Embassy. The same number of Projects is expected for the 2018 audit.

Description of the procurement

The Embassy of Ireland is currently inviting internationally recognised audit firms to submit proposals for the Financial Audit of three years: year ending 31st December 2016, 31st December 2017 and 31st December 2018. One Technical Proposal and one Financial Proposal should be submitted for the three years, based on the 2016 Terms of Reference for the Embassy and the 2016 Terms of reference for Programmes/Projects funded by the Embassy.
