The Mechanical Works generally comprise the following:
Identification, tracing and phased strip out of existing mechanical services installations in Historic Leinster House.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning on a phased basis in Historic Leinster House of the following:
New Heating installation throughout
New Air Conditioning and Ventilation Systems
New Water Services and Soils and Waste Systems
New BMS system which shall be connected to the existing BMS network
Fit-out of a new RTE TV and Radio Studio.
A significant portion of the works shall be in historic areas of the building and will therefore require the necessary planning and attention during the course of the works.
The areas concerned will generally be vacated to facilitate the works but the adjacent areas within the Leinster House complex will remain occupied and in use.
