Kildare County Council are seeking to appoint an Architect lead integrated design team for the conversion of Naas Town Hall into Naas Town Library. The Proposed Naas Town Hall Library project is located at North Main Street, Naas East, Naas, Co. Kildare. The subject property is a three storey detached former jail building. Originally built in 1796 by the old Naas Corporation. In 1904 the building was renovated into a Town Hall. The property is provided with an Italian classical style facade including a feature twin-faced clock. The building is included on the Record of Protected Structures within the current Kildare County Council Development Plan. Ref: NS19-047.
