proposed to be used as a centre to
provide refuge and support services for women and children who are victims of
domestic violence. This project is generally as set out in the Galway City Council;
Grant of Planning Permission, ref: 13/342 dated 15/6/2016 but is to be developed
subsequently in design brief and scope of works as set out by COPE Galway. It
will comprise of 9 housing/accommodation units, office, meeting rooms and
communal spaces and a range of facilities for children ranging in age from 0 to 18
years.
