As part of the Vartry Water Supply Project – Water Treatment Plant & Reservoir Upgrade Contract, Irish Water on behalf of Ervia plans to undertake the following:
 *Construction of a new 80MLD Water Treatment Plant (WTP);
 *Upgrade of the Existing Vartry Reservoir Intake including new siphon pipework
 *Increase the capacity of the existing Vartry Reservoir Spillway;
The planned works are necessary to ensure compliance with EU Directives, Irish National Standards and Regulations relating to treated water for human consumption.
It is intended that the works will be implemented under a Design and Build Contract including a 2 year process proving stage.

Ervia also reserves the right to contract with each member of the group on the basis of joint and several liability, or with one member of the group as a main contractor with a number of sub-contractors or on any other basis as Ervia considers appropriate.
