II.2.4)
Description of the procurement
Low Pressure (0 – 1 atm) Volumetric Porosimetry remains the principle technique for determination of specific surface area (SSA) and for obtaining adsorption/desorption isotherms for porous materials and is an invaluable tool for the support of cutting edge research in materials science. The porosimetry systems detailed herein will support multiple researchers at the University of Limerick and will be applied to the study of a wide range of porous materials. Specifically, we are in need of a single high-resolution low pressure volumetric system; The Low-Pressure Volumetric Gas Proosimeter will entail a high resolution, research quality porosimeter for detailed analysis of adsorption/desorption isotherms of multiple adsorptives for microporous Metal-Organic Materials.
