The Contracting Authority intends to establish a framework agreement with a suitably qualified and experienced service provider for the
provision of a multi-language interpretation service. The requirement is for a timely, reliable and high quality interpretation service to assist
medical and other front-line staff when communicating with patients whose
first language is not English.
For the avoidance of doubt, it is emphasised that the Contracting Authority may legitimately cease to use this framework agreement in order to avail of any national or centralised framework agreement that becomes
available in the future. The Contracting Authority shall exercise its sole discretion in this regard.

Description of the procurement

Contract performance conditions

It shall be a condition for the performance of this framework agreement that all staff of the successful framework member who are afforded access to the Contracting Authority’s premises under this framework agreement will have been fully and satisfactorily Garda vetted, as required by legislation. The successful framework member shall be required to provide appropriate evidence to this effect prior to the commencement of service delivery under this framework agreement.
