Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
The route extends between Portlaoise and Cashel serving the principal stopping
places listed in the RFT.
The service is required to operate to those times indicated below on Mondays to
Sundays. A Sunday service is required to be operated on Public Holidays and
services are not required to operate on Christmas Day.
The approximate daily scheduled kilometres in service (“scheduled kilometres”)
required to be operated is approximately 593km Monday to Saturday excluding
Friday, 701km Fridays and 259km on Sundays and Bank Holidays (refer to Table
A in Appendix II). Tenders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of these
figures.

The contracting authority reserves the right to terminate the process at any time or to change the basis of, or the procedures for, the competition. The most economically advantageous or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
The contracting authority is subject to the Freedom of Information Acts 1997 and 2003. Tenderers shall state if any information supplied by them in response to this notice is confidential or commercially sensitive or should not be disclosed in response to a request for information under the aforementioned Acts.
