    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The Contracting Authority intends to establish a framework agreement with a suitably qualified and experienced economic operator for the repair and replacement of curtain rails in Beaumont Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital. The successful framework member will be required to provide replacement rails and associated parts, install the required rails and parts and remove damaged rails already in place. The curtain rails in question comprise both bed curtain rails and window curtain rails.

    The initial contract to be performed under this framework agreement comprises the replacement and repair of a specific quantity of damaged rails that have already been identified by the Contracting Authority. These are detailed in Appendix 2-Pricing Schedule). Following the execution of this initial contract, this framework agreement may be utilised for further work in respect of the repair and replacement of curtain rails. Such additional requirements will be specified as the need arises and awarded to the successful framework member.
