Single-party framework agreement for the supply of sterile endovenous radiofrequency ablation catheters

The Contracting
Authority intends to
establish a
single-party
framework agreement
for the supply of
sterile endovenous
radiofrequency
ablation catheters.
In the first
instance, a contract
of two years’
duration will be
awarded for the
supply of the
catheters. Over the
course of the
framework agreement,
the successful
framework member may
be required to
provide additional
catheters, depending
upon clinical need.
The products will
be primarily
required by St
Joseph’s Hospital,
Raheny but may also
be provided from
time to time in
Beaumont Hospital.
This framework agreement will have a maximum potential duration of four years.

A grouping, if successful in this competition, will be expected to establish itself as a legal entity, with each party being jointly and severally liable to the Contracting Authority, prior to the formal establishment of the framework agreement.

The Contracting Authority undertakes that this framework agreement will not be established until a statutory period of fourteen calendar days has expired, commencing on the day after the date of electronic notification of all concerned tenderers. This ‘standstill period’ is being observed in accordance with the provisions of S.I. 130 of 2010.
