    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The Irish Coast seeks a supplier for the supply, delivery, installation and

    commissioning of MF Transmitter/Receivers, automated backup power for these

    transceivers, and also the associated wire-T antenna systems & antenna

    matching equipment, to interface with these transceivers.

    These will be installed at the four locations of Valentia Islandcoastal, Malin Head,

    Rosslare, and Belmullet.

    It is a requirement, that the power of the transmitters shall be a minimum of 500W.

    The transceivers should be configurable remotely. The transceivers shall be

    connected between remote sites and control centres via Ethernet connections.

    These Ethernet connections will be provided by the Irish Coast Guard.

    It is expected that all equipment will be delivered in 2016 and that preliminary

    works will start in 2016, but will finish by 2017 at latest.

    It is intended to place the contract with a systems manufacturer/supplier who will

    be the sole contractor with the authority. The sole contractor will be at liberty to

    subcontract individual elements to other manufacturers and suppliers. The sole

    contractor, however, shall be directly responsible for the execution of the

    complete contract. Tenders will be required to demonstrate that they have a

    proven technical ability and capacity to provide the necessary equipments and on-

    going support for such equipments and systems to the required standard. They

    will also be required to demonstrate that they have sufficient financial and

    economic standing to undertake such a contract.

    Tenderers must submit a hard paper copy response. Electronic only copies will be

    rejected.

Applicants will be required to demonstrate that their company have a proven capacity to provide the required equipment to a high standard and will be required to demonstrate that they have sufficient financial and economic standing to undertake such a contract

    Applicants must provide the following information with their submission:

    Provide Names and addresses of bankers.

    Provide audited accounts and annual reports for the last three years to include the following, or other information to demonstrate the tenderers economic and financial standing - Balance sheet, statement of accounts, full notes to the accounts, directors report. Auditors report and tax exemption certificate (where appropriate) - reference to web site will not suffice. If these accounts refer to a parent company this must be advised.
