    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) wish to put in place a

    contract for the provision of Temporary Agency Staff. The Authority has an

    ongoing requirement to fill temporary and short term vacancies, adminstrative and

    professional roles within the organisation from time to time. The successful

    tenderer must demonstrate the capacity and ability to deliver the required services

    to the Authority‘s headquarters in Cork and the Dublin Regional Office, as

    described in this RFT.

    This service will be managed by HIQA‘s Human Resources Department. For full

    details of requirements see Appendix 1.

    The required services are Annex IIB Services, and accordingly only Articles 23

    and 35(4) of the new Consolidated Public Procurement Directive 2004/18/EC for

    the award of Public Service contracts as amended will apply to this competition.

    Notwithstanding this the Health Information Quality Authority intends to conduct

    this competition in a fair, equitable and transparent manner and in accordance

    with the methodologies defined in this tender competition.
