    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) is a State body which

    operates with a commercial remit to provide asset and liability management

    services to Government.

    Following a review of its long term premises requirements the NTMA has

    approved the selection of Block D1, Project Wave, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1 as

    the preferred option for its proposed new office premises.

    The premises, which is due for completion in 2018, will be located in City Block 8

    within the area designated as the North Lotts and Grand Canal Quay Strategic

    Development Zone. It is proposed that the NTMA will occupy 6 floors of the

    Premises comprising c. 8,100 Sq.m net on a 25 year lease.

    It is expected the accommodation leased by the NTMA will consist of open plan

    office space, cellular offices, meeting rooms, training area, reception area,

    canteen area, storage areas, services areas, toilets and ancillary office

    accommodation areas.The current expected timeframe for occupation of the

    Premises is late 2018.

    The consultancy services required for this project will be procured on the basis of

    a single integrated design team. The selected team will be required to provide all

    design services and advice/ancillary services in relation to all aspects of the fit-out

    works and all engagements with the landlord in relation to both the landlord and

    tenant works throughout the construction period. The fit-out works will be procured

    separately by the NTMA. The Integrated Design Team shall comprise, but not

    necessarily be limited to

    1. Architectural services including Employer‘s Representative, Planning

    Consultancy services, “Assigned“ Certifier. Fire Consultancy services, Project

    Management.

    2. Quantity Surveying services,

    3. Civil and Structural engineering services,

    4. Building Services (M&E) Engineering services,

    5. Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP).
