    The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) now requires the services of a Consultancy firm with expertise in civil and marine engineering to prepare a Preliminary Report, detailed design, tender documentation, Works and handover Stage for the Dredging of Navigation Channel Project at An Daingean Fishery Harbour Centre, Co. Kerry.

    The project involves the following broad parameters;

    • Dredging the North-South leg of the channel to have a new width of 60m to a dredged level of 2.6m Chart Datum.

    • Provision of a turning basin to a dredged level of 5m Chart Datum.

    • The Dredging will involve the removal of the underlying seabed material (including rock). Some of the seabed material may be contaminated with TBT.

    Estimated cost excluding VAT: 200000  EUR
