    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    This public procurement competition relates to (1) the delivery and supply on

    demand, to an enclosed animal/poultry house, of CO2 for the purposes of whole

    house gassing of animals/poultry in the event of a disease outbreak including an

    outbreak of Avian Influenza, to any part of the island of Ireland within 36 hours of

    request being made and (2) assist in health and safety training on the proper use

    of CO2 to include a demonstration on the infusion of CO2. DAFM is acting in co-

    operation with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Northern

    Ireland (DARDNI) in this procurement. The service will be required on an island of

    Ireland basis. The Contracting Authority is seeking one supplier for this service
