    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    The Health Service Executive’s National Cancer Control Programme has initiated a

    project to procure, implement and support a Single National Medical Oncology

    Clinical Information System (MOCIS) to be deployed centrally, utilised and

    accessed by public hospitals across the Irish Health Service. The HSE will appoint

    a single supplier Framework Agreement to meet its requirements. The successful

    tenderer will take full responsibility for the delivery of the requirement on a managed

    service basis.

    The MOCIS solution is expected to support interoperability in the Irish Health

    Services to support the delivery of quality, safe patient care and promote

    standardisation of treatment delivery nationally in line with best practice.
