    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    Analysis by the OGP indicates that the requirements of PSBs for Backup,

    Recovery and Replication software and Associated Reseller Services arise in the

    following instances:

    a) PSBs who have existing Backup, Recovery and Replication software

    estates and who require additional OSM specific (i.e. branded) licences and/or

    services where such PSBs wish to expand all or part of their existing estates,

    upgrade existing software and/or to avail of support services for existing estates;

    b) PSBs who have existing Backup, Recovery and Replication software

    estates and who wish to replace all or part of their existing environment with new

    technology;

    c) PSBs who do not have existing Backup, Recovery and Replication

    software estates and who wish to procure such software and/or associated

    services for the first time;

    d) Where there is no OSM specific lot for their existing estate in Lots 1-6.

    Tenderers should note that Lots 1-6 of this RFT will be used by PSBs who wish to

    meet the requirements set out above at a). Lot 7 of this RFT will be used to meet

    PSB requirements as set out above at b), c) and d).
