Establishment of Multiple Operator Single Discipline Frameworks - Construction Consultancy Services
Dublin
As and when required by the Contracting Authority
This procurement is a competition to establish a Multi Operator Single Discipline
Framework Design Team compromising the following Principal Services
procured as independent appointments:
• Lot 1: Architect
• Lot 2: Project Manager
• Lot 3: Civil / Structural Engineer
• Lot 4: Mechanical and Electrical Engineer
• Lot 5: Quantity Surveyor
• Lot 6: Archaeologist
• Lot 7: Project Supervisor Design Process
• Lot 8: Fire Safety / Disability Access Consultant
The establishment of the Framework Agreement will be on the basis of a two
stage process whereby the successful Applicants for each Lot will be included in
a tender competition for an initial “call-off contract” for the demolition and re-
construction of 5-6 John’s Lane West, Dublin 8.
Focus Housing Association Ltd intends to develop 5-6 Johns Lane West building,
with frontage to St. Augustine Street and John Street, Dublin 8, which is
proposed to be demolished with planning permission obtained for the
construction of 31 no. apartments (16 no. 1 bed, 10 no. 2 bed and 5no. 3 bed)
over basement on a site of 666sqm.

Full Architectural services for the design, construction, fit-out and commissioning of projects. It is the intention that the appointed Architect will act as the Designer and Assigned Certifier in compliance with the Building Control Regulations. Full Project Management Services and Employer‘s Representative for the design, construction, fit-out and commissioning of projects. Refer to Project Information Memorandum for additional information. Further details will be provided at Stage 2 of this process.
Full Civil and Structural Engineering services for the design, construction, fit-out and commissioning of projects. It is the intention that the appointed Civil/Strucutral Engineer will act as Ancillary Certifier in compliance with the Building Control Regulations. Full Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Services of projects. It is the intention that the appointed Mechanical and Electrical Engineer will act as Ancillary Certifier in compliance with the Building Control Regulations.
