Concession Contract for the Provision of Catering Services at NUI Galway
Galway
This tender is to appoint an experienced service provider to provide Catering Services for the following campus outlets:
• An Bhialann, an 720 seat restaurant incorporating a food hall,
• Separate branded coffee and Bespoke sandwich operations
• Adjacent café.
This is a service concession contract, in that the successful economic operator will be rewarded for the delivery of the required services through access to the opportunity to operate the catering services described. This concession is being awarded under the Negotiated procedure which involves two distinct stages:
Stage 1 Pre-Qualification: Interested candidates are invited to complete and return the Qualification Questionnaire which contains qualification criteria to assess candidates’ financial capacity and previous experience. The Qualification Questionnaire is available for downloading from www.etenders.gov.ie (RFT101739)
Stage 2: Invitation to Tender: Following the evaluation of completed qualification questionnaires, it is envisaged that at least the 3 highest scoring candidates and no more than the 5 highest scoring candidates complying with the qualification criteria detailed below will be issued with full invitation to tender documents, which will contain a detailed specification of requirements and further instructions regarding the competition.
Site Visit: Candidates are invited to view the café facility at NUI Galway on Tuesday, 5th January 2016 at 11.00am. A maximum of two people per candidate is allowed. Please register interest by emailing tenders@nuigalway.ie before 4th of January 2016 10am.
Please note NUI Galway closes for Christmas Holidays on Wednesday, 23rd December, and will reopen on Monday, 4th January 2016.
