    Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

    Supply of Preventative & Corrective Maintenance Services to the ESB Ecars

    Electric Vehicle Infrastructure. The ESB Ecars EV charging infrastructure is made

    up of 100 Fast Chargers and approximately 600 AC Public chargers and these

    numbers may grow in the next 2 to 3 years. ESB Ecars operates this

    infrastructure in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

    The units are made by various international manufacturers and cover all current

    EV charging standards. The AC chargers are 2x22KW AC 3 Phase and the Fast

    chargers are either CHAdeMO 50KW DC, CHAdeMO/43kW AC or

    CHAdeMO/CCS 50KW DC/43kW AC. The chargers are installed in a variety of

    public and private sites including Motorway Services, Service stations, public and

    private car parks and on footpaths on public roadways. ESB Ecars operates a

    24/7 Call Centre that handles all customer calls and can provide a number of

    remote functions through our IT system.

    The service provision will be 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per

    year.

    In order to participate interested parties must download and complete the pre Qualification document provided on the Irish Government‘s eTenders website and submit via the eTenders website before the deadline stated for submissions.

    A similar tender notice has been published by ESB on the eTenders website and the relevant prequalification document is attached to that notice and is available to download.

    Following evaluation of the prequalification submissions received, ESB intends to establish a short listing of suitable candidates to participate in a tendering competition for award of the contract or contracts.

    The short list of candidates will be up to six (6) for each of the two lots Lot 1 (Ulster including Northern Ireland) and Lot 2 (Connacht, Leinster and Munster).
