See RFT Document plus Appendices for all details relating to the quantity and scope requirements of this tender competition.
Low Pressure (0 – 1 atm) Volumetric Porosimetry remains the principle technique for determination of specific surface area (SSA) and for obtaining adsorption/desorption isotherms for porous materials and is an invaluable tool for the support of cutting edge research in materials science. The porosimetry systems detailed herein will support multiple researchers at the University of Limerick and will be applied to the study of a wide range of porous materials. Specifically, we are in need of a single high-resolution low pressure volumetric system; The Low-Pressure Volumetric Gas Proosimeter will entail a high resolution, research quality porosimeter for detailed analysis of adsorption/desorption isotherms of multiple adsorptives for microporous Metal-Organic Materials.
High Resolution Research-Grade High-Pressure (›50 atm) Porosimetry remains a principle technique for obtaining adsorption/desorption isotherms for porous materials and is an invaluable tool for the support of cutting edge research in materials science. The porosimetry system detailed herein will support multiple researchers at the University of Limerick and will be applied to the study of a wide range of porous materials. Specifically, we are in need of one system; The High Pressure Gas Porosimeter will entail a high resolution, research quality high-pressure porosimeter for detailed analysis of adsorption/desorption isotherms of multiple adsorptives for microporous Metal-Organic Materials.
The dynamic vapour sorption (DVS) analysers detailed herein will support multiple researchers at the University of Limerick and will be applied to the study of a wide range of materials from pharmaceuticals to metal-organic materials. Specifically, we are in need of two systems; This system (Lot 3.A) will entail a research quality dynamic vapour sorption analyser with vacuum capabilities for detailed analysis of adsorption/desorption isotherms of multiple adsorptives for Metal-Organic Materials.
The dynamic vapour sorption (DVS) analysers detailed herein will support multiple researchers at the University of Limerick and will be applied to the study of a wide range of materials from pharmaceuticals to metal-organic materials. Specifically, we are in need of two systems; This System (Lot 3.B) will be a more standard research quality instrument with basic dynamic vapour sorption analysis capabilities to be used primarily with pharmaceuticals.
